Is GBS Ready for the Agentic AI Era? | Invite Only (Series 1)

Following our GBS Operating Model FutureCast workshop, Everest Group is convening a select group of GBS leaders for an interactive working session on Tuesday, April 14, to pressure test emerging perspectives on reimagining the operating model in the age of agentic AI.

Join Deborah Kops, Executive Advisor; Eric Simonson, Managing Partner; and Rohitashwa Aggarwal, Partner, along with GBS peers, for a candid, discussion-led virtual roundtable focused not on tools or incremental change, but on the structural integrity of today’s GBS model. Together, we will challenge core assumptions, explore where the model is already under strain, and examine what must fundamentally change for GBS to remain relevant in an orchestration driven future.

Participants will explore:

  • Which elements of the current GBS model are already breaking
  • What shifts (e.g., from delivery to orchestration) are real vs. aspirational
  • Where organizations will hit structural barriers first (funding, governance, talent, etc.)
  • What GBS must stop doing, and what it must own, to remain relevant

Virtual Roundtable Guidelines

This is a invite-only session for GBS leaders from organizations that are members of Everest Group GBS research program. Attendees should be prepared to share their experiences and be willing to engage in discourse. Everest Group will approve each attendance request to ensure an appropriate group size and mix of participants. The sessions are 90 minutes in duration and include introductions, a short presentation, and a facilitated discussion.
